Pamela Brown, B.Sc. (Hons. Podiatry) D. Ch. Chiropodist

Pam graduated from the Ontario Chiropody Program in 1991 and from the University of Brighton, England in 1999 with a bachelor of science honours degree in Podiatry.

She has worked in public health at the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit and has run her private practice in the Kingston area since 1992.

Chiropodists/Podiatrists are the foot specialists that train to assess and treat all types of foot and ankle disorders.Pam is a member of the Ontario College of Chiropodists, the Canadian Federation of Foot Specialists and the Pedorthic Association of Canada. She regularly attends a series of conferences and seminars to stay as current as possible on the latest research in foot health, as well as being a board member in the Canadian Federation of Foot Specialists.

Pam’s special interest has been in treating back, hip, knee and foot/ankle pain and dysfunction without drugs and surgery. Pam has focused the last 30-plus years in improving traditional orthotic prescriptions to increase the use and effectiveness of foot orthotic therapy for a variety of ailments.

Sally Fathers B.Sc. , D.Ch Registered Chiropodist

Sally graduated with a BSc from McMaster University in 1997, and the Ontario Chiropody Program in 2000. She also graduated from the University of Toronto Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course in 2005. 

For most of her career she has worked at the Ottawa Hospital focusing on wound care and the Diabetic foot, working as a clinician and clinical educator for Chiropody students.  She has presented research at a number of conferences, most recently at the Canadian Association of Wound Care in 2014. Sally joined our team here in Kingston in 2019.

Sally is currently a member of the Ontario College of Chiropodists and the Ontario Society of Chiropodists

Nicole Griffin (cPod)

Nicole Griffin, Certified Podologist

Nicole received her Certified Podologist (cPod) from The North American School of Podology, focusing on the study of advanced skin and nail pathology, the diabetic foot, Diabetic Foot Syndrome (DFS), pedicuring at risk clients, and comprehensive foot and leg evaluation, as well as her Master Certified Pedicurist Certification (CMP) additionally the completion of  Compression fitter certification from mediCanada.   

Starting her healthcare career in 1997 as a PSW and after graduating from St. Clair College in 2000 immediately started working with the palliative care team, eventually transitioning to residential hospice care. During that time continuing education was completed in wound care, pain management, infection control, complex case management, whole person centered care, and many human behaviour courses.  Most recently Nicole has received a Human Resources Management degree from York University (2022).

Michelle received her PSW certificate from Algonquin College. She has had many years of experience, including working at the Sisters of Providence, caring for persons with developmental disabilities, the elderly and individuals with autism.

Office Manager

Vicki received a Bachelor of Science Degree and went on work in blood product/stem cell research.

She also took several courses in healthcare management and has been working for many years managing Multidisciplinary Medical Facilities.
